Special Legacy Project – Judicial Busts

In 2022, we are continuing to advance a special legacy project with the commissioning of busts of Justice Mary Hetherington and retired Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin.
At present the Court Houses in Edmonton and Calgary display an impressive array of Chief Justices of Alberta. However, all of the busts displayed are of men. We would like to add to the present collection of busts those of two accomplished and deserving women jurists.
