Mr. Glenn M. Morrison, K.C., of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the age of eighty-seven.
He was born on December 29, 1934, in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Mr. Morrison attended the University of British Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1959 and graduated with an LL.B. in 1960. He was Called the Alberta Bar in 1961.

He practiced law in Lethbridge for forty-four years, first with Virtue and Company and then with Torry, Lewis, Abells LLP. He was also a Federal Crown Prosecutor in Southern Alberta and a Sitting Justice of the Peace for the Provincial Court of Alberta from 1995 to 2004. He was designated King`s Counsel in 1990.
In 1990, Mr. Morrison was active in the founding of the Legal Archives Society of Alberta as one the organization`s original Board Members becoming Vice-Chair in 1992. Following his time on the Board, he continued to support LASA by attending events that promote Alberta`s legal history and making significant archival donations to preserve Alberta`s legal heritage. In recognition of his long-time support for the Legal Archives Society of Alberta, he was designated an Honourary Member of the Society in 1995.
